The proposed action involves the installation of approximately 34 miles of underground fiber optic conduit within Hardin County, Kentucky, to provide broadband internet service to approximately 2,400 currently unserved locations. The project is funded through the Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) Program administered by the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA).

Construction will utilize horizontal directional drilling (HDD) as the primary installation method, minimizing surface disturbance.
